| The Command of the Military Transport Aviation is involved person within the meaning of The Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 on the basis of the following grounds: (1) the Command of the Military Transport Aviation is or has been involved in obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia by carrying on business as a Government of Russia-affiliated entity in a sector of strategic significance to the Government of Russia, namely the Russian defence sector; (2) Command of the Military Transport Aviation is or has been involved in destabilising Ukraine or undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine. |
